Pediatric Asthma Community Event

So wonderful to be part of the Greater Newark Health Care Coalition’s 2nd Annual Pediatric Asthma Day, bringing together community leaders, healthcare providers, and families to advance conversations around pediatric asthma awareness, prevention, and care.

Children and families had the opportunity to engage with Asthma Quest—one of Heydoc Pediatrics’ interactive educational games—reviewed by board-certified pediatric pulmonologist Dr. Khalil Savary. Attendees also explored games focused on allergies, respiratory hygiene, bullying prevention, and mental health, making health education both accessible and fun.

It was inspiring to see so many organizations and professionals united around improving asthma outcomes and supporting the health and well-being of children throughout our community. Thank you to the Greater Newark Health Care Coalition for hosting such a meaningful event.
