Funded by the Pozen Scholars Program at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, medical students working with Heydoc Pediatrics brought interactive health learning into the classroom at Great Oaks Legacy Charter School.

The session focused on bringing health topics to students in a way that felt real, relatable, and engaging. Instead of a traditional lecture, students learned through mini-games, group discussions, and an XP-and-stars reward system that made different health topics more interactive, engaging, and approachable.

Medical students from Rutgers led the session and played a role in shaping the energy of the room, sharing their experiences and sparking curiosity among students about medicine, health, and their own futures.
